Since April 1st 2008 Christian Johann Springer took over the Viennese company steeped in tradition ”Joh. Springer`s Erben“ from his mother Margarethe Weixelbraun, who led it successfully for decades.

The branches in the City were modernized and enlarged. In Kagran the choice of hunting- and sports weapons, militaria, handguns and reload products was enlarged to 370m² at Kagranerplatz 8.

The city centre branches in Graben 10 and in Habsburgergasse 9 were emigrated to Weihburggasse 27, right next to the Palais Coburg. With now 700 m2 on three floors, the new shopping world makes every hunter`s heart beat faster!

Since autumn 2008 there are two new areas offered by Joh. Springer’s Erben Handels GmbH. Under the supervision of Mr. Constantin Weinberger jagd@springer-vienna.com) a wide range of hunting trips was organized, which can be altered to anybodies wishes.

Twice a year we also offer a "silent auction" in the store Weihburggasse 27, 1010 Wien. At this auction your hand written bids will only be opened at the end of the auction period and the highest bidder will then be awarded the article.
