Barbour Classic Beaufort Wax Jacket

The Classic Beaufort model for men is a slightly longer waxed jacket with a more generous cut. It is made from water-repellent, waxed cotton in hard-wearing 6oz Sylkoil quality. The jacket can be complemented with a warming inner lining and a matching hood (see below). The jacket, which has been part of the collection since 1983, is still made in the company's own production facility in South Shields in the north-east of England. Characteristic details such as the corduroy collar, a two-way zip and practical slit pockets give the weather-resistant wax jacket its unmistakable classic look. The jacket is characterised by a zip pocket on the back, an easily accessible zip pocket under the storm flap and the cotton lining with a tartan pattern. The Classic Beaufort wax jacket can be worn comfortably over a jacket. Waxed jackets are robust, durable garments that can be re-waxed if necessary to maintain their water-repellent properties.
