The Dual-Brake muzzle brake deflects a large part of the powder gases from the firing direction. These are steered to the side as well as upwards and downwards at an angle to the rear. This puts a forward force on the muzzle brake and thus on the barrel, which reduces recoil. The point of impact changes depending on whether you shoot with or without a muzzle brake. Therefore, the point of impact should be checked after each attachment of the muzzle brake and when firing again after removing the muzzle brake.
