Details
Developed in 1956 for the East African hunting organization EAPHA, the PUMA “white hunter” quickly became known worldwide as the ultimate outdoor knife and is now regarded as an extremely popular classic. Its blade shape has been carefully thought out and effortlessly meets every conceivable requirement. The sturdy tip is robust enough to open cans or pry open crown caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the middle of the back of the blade for rough work, such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. The blade also has a practical saw tooth at the back of the cutting edge for cutting green branches, fish skin or similar material with a firm surface. The model in this classic version is fitted with selected stag horn scales, which are firmly riveted to the tang that runs all the way through the handle. With all these attributes, the original “white hunter” is an innovative knife that is still unrivaled today.
